Fleeing into the wilderness to escape an abusive marriage, Lady Isabelle Tynsdale would sooner face down a wild boar than spend another night with her wretched husband. Battered by the elements, desperate to elude a band of attackers, and defending herself against, as fate would have it, a wild boar she is rescued by the handsome Laird David Campbell.
Campbell knows holding Isabelle captive for ransom is his best chance to temper the storm threatening to destroy his clan. The ransom of an English countess should be more than enough to pay off his debts to England and save him from an unwanted marriage. But Isabelle didn’t escape her husband just to become another man’s captive and Laird Campbell is seriously misguided if he thinks she’s going to go quietly.

I read and loved HIGHLANDER’S SWORD. It was a beautiful medieval romance, and it had themes of her faith within it and made for a ‘clean read’ that sometimes people ask me about with books I read. So wanted to mention that here that this one is a beautiful sweet medieval romance. I already have book 2 waiting for me to read. She’s an awesome author!
Note for Daily Cheap Reads (DCR), I couldn’t find on the side of your blog about going through you to get a gift certificate/card, cuz I remember reading about that during the holidays here. But did some searching and I found it so I could credit you DCR! So just a suggestion, if you could put it on the side of your blog or in one of the subjects above, the link for going directly here to the Gift Cards section on Amazon. I love being able to support Daily Cheap Reads and all these blogs that have helped on finding books with my budget! Its great to use the GC, much easier for .99 cents books to go through that way, so it was a great suggestion, so thanks for all you do!

Thanks for supporting us and I’ll look to put a GC widget on the side. I may have to ask our tech support, so it may take a few days.
Thanks also for the personal recommendation on the book.

Thanks Caffey for the heads up for this book being a clean read. Sometimes just from Amazon reviews you can never tell where in the romance meter they fall. This is actually book 2 of the Highlander’s series. DCR featured book 1 Highlander’s Sword last July. Today it is still a cheap read. I have it, but have not read it yet. Reviews say they do not need to be read in order. Book 3 True Highland Spirit is a pre-order for March 6 delivery.
I would also like to see the gift card option on the site. I would love to support the site anyway I can. I usually get gift cards for the same reason above, all these cheap reads aren’t always great for the credit cards, some decline the purchase.
Thanks DCR for all you do.

If you click from one of our links to Amazon and buy a gift card, we’ll get the credit. But I’m going to work on making it easy for you. I’ll try tonight to get that done.
We have the best, the absolute best, site visitors in the world. We do appreciate every one of you!
